Republic RF-84F Thunderflash

Last updated on: April 1, 2013

715 of these planes were produced in 1955-57 and served many years with various Air Forces of the world, even into the 1980s.

It is important to note that this page is only for the recon-version RF-84F. The swept-wing F-84F fighter has its own separate page,as do the straight-wing F-84 models A to E, and the primarily-export F-84G.

This is a work in progress and any help would be appreciated. Information on these planes is rather difficult to locate online and this work will remain incomplete unless you the readers offer to help me. Please feel free to pass along any information that you might have.

At the end of the first F-84 Thunderjet page is a list of people who have graciously offered their help on all the models of the F-84, including this one. Thank you all very much!
