Gloster Javelin

The Javelin was an impressive looking, if less than capable in practice, all-weather cannon and missile-armed interceptor from the 1950s and 60s. The 436 Javelins served as the backbone of the RAF’s anti-bomber defense for most of the 1960s before being replaced by the Lightning and Phantom in front line squadrons.

This is a work in progress and any help would be appreciated. Information on these planes is rather difficult to locate online and this work will remain incomplete unless you the readers offer to help me. Please feel free to pass along any information that you might have.
