Grumman F9F Panther series
This is the start of a very lengthy project to detail the operational histories of the entire run of Grumman F9F Panther naval and marine jet fighters of the 1950s. These straight-wing fighters were the US Navy’s primary combat aircraft in the Korean War (along with the F2H Banshee).
Note: These pages will not include the bent-wing Cougar variant, that will come later.
