Chance Vought F7U Cutlass series

This is the start of a very lengthy project to detail the operational histories of the entire run of Chance Vought F7U Cutlass single-seat US Navy jet fighters of the 1950s and 60s. These were advanced, if temperamental, machines and for my money one of the cooler looking jets of any era.

There were four distinct production models of the innovative Chance Vought F7U Cutlass and just a total of 320 were built...
