Grumman F11F Tiger series
This is the start of a very lengthy project to detail the operational histories of the entire run of Grumman F11F Tiger single-seat US Navy jet fighters of the 1950s and 60s. This lightweight day-fighter was yet another nearly forgotten jet that came and went so quickly in active service that few people remember it today. In 1962, they were renamed F11A Tigers, but I will continue to use the original designation here.
There was just one distinct production model of the F11F Tiger and a total of 200 were built...
